Two numbers in, a year's worth of fees out. No sign-up, no email, nothing sent anywhere — the arithmetic happens on your phone.
Rough is fine. A month off the top of your head gets you close enough to be useful.
Orders placed online, not walk-ins.
Before tax and tip.
Plus per order. Whatever your processor charges.
That's $6,400 a month going through the page — $76,800 a year.
Cost to you, per month, and what that is over a year compared with a flat monthly fee.

A marketplace commission buys you customers. A flat fee does not. DoorDash and Uber Eats put you in front of people who had never heard of you. That is worth real money and this calculator does not price it. What it answers is narrower and, for most places, more useful: what does it cost to serve the customers who already know your name — the regular who orders the same thing every Friday and would have rung you if the page had not been there.
If most of your online orders are people finding you for the first time, the commission may be the cheapest advertising you have ever bought. If most of them are regulars, you are paying a finder's fee on customers who were never lost.
Card processing is paid on every single line here. On DoorDash and Uber Eats it is inside the commission — they pay it out of their cut. On everything else it is yours, at your own rate, which is why the box above asks. The comparison is not honest otherwise.
Per-order fees on small orders. Slice does not charge its per-order fee on orders under $10. If your average is below that this calculator leaves the fee off; if it is above, it applies it to every order, which is slightly harsh on a place with a wide spread of ticket sizes.
Set-up and hardware are left out. Slice's Family membership carries a $1,000 implementation fee and ChowNow's set-up runs $119–$499. One-time costs distort a monthly figure, so they are not in the table — but they are real and they are in the sources below.
Nobody here is lying to you, including us. Every rate is the one the company publishes on its own website, linked below, read on 23 September 2026, and Owner.com's on 28 September. Your own contract may say something different — plenty do — and if it does, the last row lets you type in what you are actually paying.
